Delete your Kurmanco account
You can request permanent deletion of your Kurmanco account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to do this and what happens to your data and subscriptions.
Delete from the app
Open Kurmanco and sign in to the account you want to delete. Go to Profile, find Delete account and select Delete account. Read the warning, then select Permanently delete my account to confirm.
Deletion cannot be undone. If the app reports that deletion failed, contact support using the details below.
Can’t access the app?
Email support@kurmanco.com to request account deletion, preferably from the email address linked to your Kurmanco account. Say that you want your account deleted.
We may ask for additional information to verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it. Never send us your password.
What gets deleted?
When account deletion succeeds, the following account data is removed from Kurmanco’s account database:
- Your sign-in account, email address and account identifier.
- Your learner profile, including your first name.
- Your saved learning progress and completion records.
- Premium access records linked to the deleted account, subject to the retention exceptions below.
The app signs you out and attempts to clear local learning progress and onboarding data linked to that account. General device preferences and downloaded learning content may remain on the device; these are not your online account. Removing the app and its local data removes those copies.
Subscriptions must be cancelled separately
Deleting your Kurmanco account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription separately through the store where you purchased it.
Use Apple App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting your account or uninstalling the app is not a cancellation request.
Information that may be retained
Some information may need to be retained where applicable for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or dispute-resolution obligations. This can include purchase and security records.
Apple App Store, Google Play and subscription service providers may retain records under their own applicable policies. Retention depends on the type of data and the applicable obligations. Contact us if you need details about your data.
